Successful Arrest and Sentence – Prolific Shoplifter

I wanted to update you on recent action taken by the Northwood and Northwood Hills Safer Neighbourhood Team regarding a prolific shoplifter that had been operating on both wards.

On 24th February 2016, officers arrested Antoine ETTIENNE for two shopliftings and three breaches of his Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO). Notably, one of the thefts and one of the breaches were committed just 30 minutes before SNT officers located and arrested him.

He was charged and remanded in custody. At court on 25th February 2016, he pleaded guilty to all offences and received a sentence of 24 weeks’ imprisonment.

This is a positive result for the community and demonstrates our commitment to tackling persistent offenders who impact local businesses and residents.
